Project Scope

A leading oil drilling rig OEM trusted us to handle their HIC Retro-fitment kit development project, during which we managed the end-to-end activity right from Combustion analysis, CAD design, procurement, fabrication, assembly and testing.


Business Challenges


  • The entire project was to be completed in 12 months hence we needed to

    do meticulous planning and have seamless coordination with all

    stakeholders

  • The kit design was conceptualized in-house after several detailed

    calculations and space claim studies. All the components of the kit needed

    to be easily mounted and removed without disturbing any existing parts and

    serviceable components on the truck

ARi’s core team of engineers planned the project & performed MBD analysis to finalize the kit design. The goal was to develop the retro fitment kit with high

quality, minimum parts and adhering to safety standards as the product injects a mixture of Hydrogen and Oxygen into the intake ports of diesel engines.

The retro fitment kit product was successfully developed and tested in one year. Customer was able to launch pilot batch of retro fitment kits for on-highway applications resulting in fuel savings.
