Design and Development of Radiator Plugging Bench
Home Case Studies Design and Development of Radiator Plugging Bench
Project Scope
Conceptualize, Design, develop, integrate and build a Radiator test bench to simulate plugging phenomena observed in the field during the working duty cycle of the OHW machine. Once the bench is built, test various Radiators and study the deterioration of cooling performance with different dust media and plugging patterns.
Business Challenges
- Customer had only a simple schematic from which ARi engineers conceptualized and produced the design of the Radiator test bench
- ARi team also selected all the bought-out parts for the test bench like the Cyclone Separator with Fan and Duct collector
ARi’s Solutions
Through meticulous requirements gathering ARi team was able to grasp the customer’s needs and produced a robust solution which could fit inside the test cell to protect the confidentiality of the trials.
ARi’s Value Proposition
- With superior planning along with dedicated support ARi team completed the design in 1 month and our Fabrication and Mechanical technicians enabled rapid development of the bench within expected 2 months and budget
- The tests were completed to customer’s satisfaction, and they were able to make changes to the Radiator improving machine performance
