Project Scope
- Design a 10 cubic meter rock bucket
- Ensure compatibility with existing machines and preserve original moldboard floor angle and linkage
Business Challenges
- Bucket design must maintain existing floor angle geometry
- Linkage system cannot be modified due to compatibility with customer’s existing fleet

- Designed paddle plate, top gussets, and floor liner to align with the moldboard
- Developed new side and bottom wear plates based on updated paddle and side plate geometry
- Updated CAD models and released manufacturing drawings via PLM system
