Unified Application Platform

Project Scope

The initiative focused on standardizing an Android-based application across allmachines to handle common functionalities such as date, time, month, climate controls, entertainment, and HMI settings.

Business Challenges

Being a novel idea, the creation of system engineering requirements was challenging and time-consuming, as it had to cater to a wide range of machine variants.

ARi’s Solutions

  • Engaged with the product owner to understand the end-to-end

requirements and conducted a thorough analysis. Based on this, software

development and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) verification were carried out

  • The common applications were enhanced to be more realistic, flexible, and

stable, ensuring a better user experience

ARi’s Value Proposition

  • Initially, the project had a limited scope. However, due to the addition of

several new common applications, the scope significantly expanded

  • The Android app has now evolved into a standard solution across all

machines and variants, with the flexibility to accommodate additional

    common applications in the future
